{"id":57,"date":"2023-01-24T01:23:47","date_gmt":"2023-01-24T01:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nas-yemen.org\/en\/?page_id=57"},"modified":"2023-01-26T16:05:29","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T16:05:29","slug":"info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nas-yemen.org\/en\/about\/info","title":{"rendered":"Origin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>About us:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NAS Organization for Development and Humanitarian Response \u201cNDHR\u201d is a non-profit and non-governmental community organization that was established in October 2018 under the Law of Civil Associations and Institutions, licensed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 42\/m\/2018 under Law No. (1) of 2001.Its main focus is the human being, and it works to provide emergency, relief and development humanitarian services to every needy and affected person.<br \/>\nNAS organization has aspirations to provide wide range of humanitarian services within the scope of the Republic of Yemen and to expand its intervention and activities at the regional and international levels in partnership with effective partners in the field of humanitarian and development work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geographical scope of the organization\u2019s work:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Its headquarters is located: in the city of Mocha \u2013 Taiz governorate. Its activities and projects target the remote areas of Taiz governorate and some areas of Al-Hodeidah, and it aspires to expand throughout the Republic in the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The main areas of interest of the organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organization works in the following areas:<br \/>\nHumanitarian response.<br \/>\nSustainable development.<br \/>\n\u2013 Women\u2019s development<br \/>\nChildhood and people with special needs<br \/>\n\u2013 Awareness<\/p>\n<p><strong>General foundations for the functioning of the organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1- Institutional building (scientific methodology).<br \/>\n2- Financial and administrative independence.<br \/>\n3- Adoption of quality standards in performance.<br \/>\n4- Work according to national and international legal references.<br \/>\n5- Prioritizing (focusing on pressing issues).<br \/>\n6- Networking and partnership.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leadership and excellence in providing work and services in the field of relief and sustainable humanitarian and development work for the affected groups in Yemen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission:<\/strong><br \/>\nEmpowerment and humanitarian development through distinguished programs, projects and activities, qualified staff, appropriate infrastructure, and effective partnership to achieve sustainable community hunger, promoting food security and sustainable livelihoods and improving nutrition.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribution to the delivery of integrated humanitarian services in various sectors to the most vulnerable in all stages of their lives.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribution to reducing the high rate of unemployment by empowering youth and women and reviving the local economy.<br \/>\n\u2022 Enhancing and promoting sustainable economic growth.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contributing to building infrastructure and nurturing innovation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strengthening partnerships with government, local and international organizations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable human development for society through qualitative programs that meet its needs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to reducing gender-based violence<br \/>\n\u2022 Empowerment youth and woman in their rule in the society<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourth \/ Organizational Structure of the Organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Administrative Board:<\/p>\n<p>The executive body of the organization consists of a group of young men and women with experience and competence in managing organizations, planning and implementing projects.<br \/>\n\u2013 Officials of departments and executive units in the headquarters, and coordinators of the organization in the governorates: university qualifications \/ specializations in the field of work of the organization.<br \/>\nAdvisory body:<br \/>\nThe advisory body includes a group of qualified and specialized in the field of work and interest of the organization, in addition to their experience in working with organizations (management, preparation, planning and implementation of projects, supervision and evaluation), as well as trainers at the national and international levels.<br \/>\nHonorary Membership.<br \/>\nIt includes a group of legal persons in the public and private sectors<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our
